Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about DraftGraders.
What is DraftGraders?+
DraftGraders is a community platform where fantasy sports managers post their draft picks and get graded by other managers and professional analysts. Think of it as a dedicated space for draft feedback — instead of posting a screenshot on Reddit and hoping for a response, you get structured grades on a standardized scale with real analysis.
Is it free to use?+
Yes. Creating an account, posting drafts, and receiving community grades are all completely free. The only paid feature is Pro Grades — detailed analysis from verified fantasy analysts — which use our optional token system.
What sports do you support?+
We support NFL (fantasy football), NBA (fantasy basketball), MLB (fantasy baseball), and NHL (fantasy hockey). Each sport has its own leaderboard, Pro Graders, and community.
How does the grading scale work?+
We use an A+ to F scale. The most important thing: B is average, not bad. A 'B' grade means you drafted a solid, competitive roster. Most drafts land between B- and B+. A grades are earned — they mean you genuinely crushed it. C and below means there are real areas for improvement. Check our Grade Guide for detailed descriptions of each grade.
Can I import my draft from Sleeper, ESPN, or Yahoo?+
Yes. When creating a new draft post, click the import button to pull in your picks directly from Sleeper, ESPN, or Yahoo Fantasy. Player names, pick order, and round info are imported automatically — no need to type everything out.
What are Pro Graders?+
Pro Graders are verified fantasy analysts who provide in-depth draft analysis. They specialize in specific sports and offer detailed, multi-paragraph breakdowns covering value picks, reaches, roster construction, and strategy. There are three tiers — Rising, Elite, and Legend — reflecting their experience on the platform.
How do tokens work?+
Tokens are the currency used for Pro Grades. You purchase token packs, then spend tokens when requesting a Pro Grade. The cost varies by grader tier (3-8 tokens). You can also add an optional rush fee for faster turnaround, or tip graders who give great feedback. Community grading is always free — tokens are only for Pro features.
How much do tokens cost?+
Token packs start at 5 tokens for $4.99. Larger packs offer better value: 12 for $9.99, 25 for $19.99, or 50 for $34.99. Tokens are valid for 12 months from purchase.
How do I become a Pro Grader?+
Start by grading other people's drafts consistently and providing helpful, detailed feedback. Once you've built a track record of quality contributions, you can apply for Pro status through your profile. We review applications based on grading volume, quality of feedback, and sport-specific knowledge.
Do I need to grade other drafts before posting mine?+
Yes. New members grade 3 drafts before posting their own. This ensures everyone contributes to the community and understands how the grading system works before putting their own draft up for review.
How does the leaderboard work?+
Drafts are ranked by their average community grade within each sport. The more grades your draft receives, the more stable your ranking becomes. The best drafts in each sport rise to the top — it's a live, always-updated ranking of the best fantasy drafts on the platform.
Can I grade drafts for sports I don't follow closely?+
We recommend only grading drafts for sports you actively follow. Good grades require understanding current player values, positional scarcity, and league format nuances. Grading outside your knowledge area leads to inaccurate feedback that doesn't help anyone.
What league formats are supported?+
All of them. When posting a draft, you specify your league details — number of teams, scoring format (PPR, Standard, Points, Categories, etc.), and whether it's redraft, keeper, or dynasty. Graders take this context into account when evaluating your picks.
How do I get the best feedback on my draft?+
Add context when posting. Tell graders your league size, scoring format, and draft position. Mention your strategy — were you going zero-RB? Targeting upside? Playing it safe? The more context you provide, the more useful the feedback you'll receive.
